In September 2022, the government of Russia temporarily banned rapeseed exports until 28 February 2023 and reintroduced the export duty on soybeans until 31 August 2024. In August 2024, the export duty on soybeans was extended until 31 August 2026. In August 2026, the export duty on soybeans was extended until 31 August 2028.

On 11 August 2026, the Government of Russia published Decree No. 1000, which extended the export duty on the subject goods until 31 August 2028. The duty rate remains unchanged.
