In September 2024, the Chinese Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that all least-developed countries (LDCs) with diplomatic relations with China will benefit from zero tariffs on 100% of items imported by China. The LDCs previously benefitted from zero tariffs on 95% to 98% of imports.
