In July 2024, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced the launch of a trade and investment barrier investigation into the European Union's (EU) investigations of Chinese enterprises under the EU's Foreign Subsidies Regulation. In January 2025, the Ministry announced the conclusion of the investigation.
