In December 2023, the Executive Committee of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Chamber (GECEX) established three new import tariff-rate quotas and extended another previously established one. The changes were introduced under the tariff reductions scheme for supply reasons established under MERCOSUR Resolution No. 49/19.
