On 8 April 2009, the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture issued regulation 20/Permentan/OT.140/4/2009 changing the provisions for importers of carcass, meat and/or offal. The regulation came into force on the day of its issuance and was amended by regulation 50/2011 on 1 October 2011 (cf. Related Measures).
