In August 2013, the government of Brazil initiated a sunset review on imports of polyvinyl chloride resin from China and the Republic of Korea, and the definitive duty was extended in August 2014. In August 2019, a sunset review was initiated. In August, the definitive duty imposed on imports from China was extended for a new period and immediately suspended. The definitive duty on imports from the Republic of Korea was terminated. In August 2025, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty imposed on imports from China was extended for a new period in August 2026.
