Austria: Introduction of EUR 110 million grant schemes to support purchase of reverse vending machines and increase reusable rate for beverage crates

In March 2022, the Austrian Federal Government adopted financial grant schemes to increase the reusable rate for beverage crates as well as to support the Austrian food retail sector in purchasing reverse vending machines.
