On 29 April 2022, the national financial institution, Invitalia, on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, announced a second call to complement the programme for the development of the Italian bus industry. The second project call extends the beneficiary list to include projects related to refuelling and recharging systems of electric vehicles.
