In July 2022, SACU initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of windscreens for vehicles from China. In February 2023, a provisional duty was imposed. In January 2024, a definitive duty was imposed. In March 2025, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Malaysia was initiated. In October 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from Malaysia. The investigation concerning imports from Malaysia is still in progress.
