In April 2018, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain steel wheels from China. The investigation is still in progress. In August 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In May 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In April 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2024. In March 2026, anti-circumvention investigations on imports from Vietnam and Thailand were initiated.
