Bulgaria: Approval of EUR 6.9 billion national recovery and resilience plan (COVID-19)

In April 2022, the European Commission approved Bulgaria's national recovery and resilience plan and finalised the process necessary to provide financing for the amount of EUR 6.9 billion (approx. USD 7.2 billion). The scheme was not formally adopted by the Council until May 2022.
