In December 2021, the Parliament and Council of the EU approved the new rules applicable to the Common Agricultural Policy for the 2023-2027 period. The EU also set the budgets for the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
