Czech Republic: Introduction of second grant scheme to support accomodation facilities (COVID-19)

In April 2021, the European Commission approved a CZK 7 billion (approx. USD 318 million) grant scheme that aims at supporting businesses operating accommodation facilities that were closed due to the COVID-19 restrictions adopted by the Czech government between 22 October 2020 and 31 December 2021. A similar measure was approved for the period March-May 2020 (see related state act).
