Italy: Introduction of social security payment exemptions to support businesses in the tourism and termal bath sectors (COVID-19)

In November 2020, the European Commission approved the exemption for Italian employers active in the tourism and thermal bath sectors from the payment of their social security contributions. The measure aims at supporting the liquidity of businesses negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy.
