In April 2020, the Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of plates, sheets, and strip of aluminium alloys from China. In June 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In April 2026, a sunset review was initiated.
