EU: Definitive countervailing duty on imports of certain glass fibre fabrics from China and Egypt, as well as extension of definitive countervailing duty to imports from Morocco and Turkiye following an anti-circumvention investigation

In May 2019, the European Commission initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain glass fibre fabrics from China and Egypt. In June 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2021, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Morocco was initiated. In December 2021, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Turkiye was initiated. In February 2022, the definitive duty was extended to imports of the same goods from Morocco following an anti-circumvention investigation. In September 2022, the definitive duty was extended to imports of the same goods from Turkiye following an anti-circumvention investigation. In June 2025, a sunset review was initiated on imports from China, Egypt, Morocco and Turkiye.
