Russian Federation: Export tax preferences for super-viscous oil and oil extracted from certain locations

On 3 December 2012, the Russian Government announced it will calculate export duties on super-viscous petroleum and petroleum extracted from certain locations using a special formula, leading to the reduced duty. 

Starting 1 January 2021, the preferences for super-viscous petroleum extraction were terminated.
