In November 2018, the Secretariat General of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain ceramic tiles from China, India and Spain. In June 2020, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China and India, whilst the investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties on imports from Spain. In March 2025, a sunset review was initiated on imports from China and India, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2026.
