Sri Lanka: Import duty reduced on maize and fish

The Sri Lankan government reduced the levy on imports of Sail and Marlin fish and reduced the duties applicable on maize imports by imposing a Special Commodity Levy. The Special Commodity Levy is a composite duty on the product and no other tax, import duty, cess etc. is applicable on the said product while the levy is valid.
