Egypt: The government imposes higher export duties on nitrogen fertilizers

On 26 December 2016, the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry issued Ministerial Decree no. 1353/2016 increasing for one year the export duties applicable to nitrogen fertilizers. Later in 2017, one subheading was excluded. On 26 December 2017, Ministerial decree no. 1583/2017 was issued extending the duty level on all items above for one year without any changes.
