In October 2016, the government of India initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. A provisional duty was imposed in June 2017 and a definitive duty was imposed in February 2018. In August 2021, a sunset review was initiated. In September 2020, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Malaysia was initiated. In August 2021, the definitive duty was extended to imports from Malaysia following the conclusion of an anti-circumvention investigation. In May 2022, the definitive duty was extended for a new period.
