In August 2016, the government of Argentina initiated a new anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain plates and stoneware tiles from India, Malaysia, Vietnam and Brazil, as well as on imports of plates and fine stoneware tiles from China. In February 2018, definitive duties were imposed. In February 2023, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2024. In August 2026, a sunset review was initiated on imports from China, Malaysia, Viet Nam and Brazil, while the duty on imports from India expired without the initiation of the sunset review.
