On 9 March 2016, the European Commission announced regulation 330/2016 changing its Generalized Scheme of Preferences (henceforth: GSP) for a number of countries. For the period from 1 January 2017 until 31 December 2019, the sectors' of these countries have been scrapped from the GSP:
