In June 2014, the Canadian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain concrete reinforcing bar from China, the Republic of Korea and Türkiye. In September 2014, a provisional duty was imposed. In January 2015, a definitive duty was imposed. In December 2019, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2020. In July 2025, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in June 2026.
