In December 2024, Thailand’s National Electric Vehicle Policy Committee (EV Board) reduced the excise duty on certain mild hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV) manufacturers making new investments in Thailand of at least THB 3 billion (USD 1.4 billion) from 2024-2027.
