In July 2024, Thailand’s National Electric Vehicle Policy Committee (EV Board) reduced the excise duty on certain hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) for manufacturers making new investments in Thailand of at least THB 3 billion (USD 1.4 billion) from 2024-2027.
