In November 2024, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of hard empty capsules from Brazil, China, India, and Vietnam. In March 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from Brazil, China, India, and Vietnam. In February 2026, a definitive duty was imposed.
