United States of America: Definitive anti-subsidy duty on imports of certain aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids from China, as well as initiation of anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Thailand and Vietnam

In June 2024, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids from China. In October 2024, a provisional duty was imposed. In May 2025, a definitive duty was imposed. In July 2025, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Thailand and Vietnam was initiated. In February 2026, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from China was initiated.
