In June 2024, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids from China. In October 2024, a provisional duty was imposed. In May 2025, a definitive duty was imposed. In July 2025, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Thailand and Vietnam was initiated.
