In May 2023, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain brass rod from Brazil, India, Israel, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, and South Africa. In December 2023, a provisional duty on imports originating from Israel was imposed. In September 2024, a definitive duty on imports originating from Israel was imposed. The investigation is still in progress.
