United States of America: Definitive antidumping duties on imports of certain corrosion-resistant steel products China, India, Italy, Rep of Korea and Chinese Taipei as well as from Vietnam following an anti-circumvention investigation

In June 2015, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain corrosion-resistant steel products from China, India, Italy, Rep. of Korea and Chinese Taipei. Notably, on the same day, a countervailing investigation on the subject good was initiated, see related state act. In January 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In July 2016, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2018, the definitive duty was extended to imports from Vietnam following the conclusion of an anti-circumvention investigation. In June 2021, a sunset review was initiated. In August 2019, the definitive duty was extended to imports from Vietnam following the conclusion of an anti-circumvention investigation. In June 2021, the definitive duty was extended to imports from Vietnam following the conclusion of an anti-circumvention investigation. In June 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2022. In March 2026, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Indonesia was initiated. In April 2026, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Thailand was initiated.
