In September 2015, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Australia, Brazil, Japan, Rep. of Korea, Netherlands, Turkiye and the United Kingdom. In March 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In October 2016, a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2022.
