United States of America: Extension of countervailing duties on imports of certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Rep. of Korea

In September 2015, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Brazil, Rep. of Korea and Turkiye. In January 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In September 2016, the definitive duty was terminated from Turkiye. In October 2016, a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2021, a sunset review was initiated. Notably, on the same day, an antidumping investigation on the subject good was initiated, see related state act. The definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2022.
