United States of America: Extension of definitive countervailing duties on imports of certain cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel from China and India

In May 2017, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel from China and India. The investigation is still in progress. In September 2017, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In January 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive countervailing duty was extended for a new period in February 2024.
