In July 2016, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of finished carbon steel flanges from India. In November 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In August 2017, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2022.
