In October 2013, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkiye. In February 2014, a provisional duty was imposed. In November 2014, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2019, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2020. In September 2025, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2026.
