In June 2011, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of high-pressure steel cylinders from China. In October 2011, a provisional duty was imposed. In June 2012, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2017, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2017. In November 2022, a sunset review was initiated. In January 2023, the definitive duty was terminated.
