United States of America: Extension of countervailing duties on imports of glycine from China and India

In April 2018, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of glycine from China, India and Thailand. The investigation is still in progress. In September 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In June 2019, a definitive duty was imposed on China and India. In August 2019, the definitive duty was terminated from Thailand. In May 2024, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty on imports from China and India was extended for a new period in November 2024.
