United States of America: Extension of definitive countervailing duties on imports of certain polyethylene terephthalate resin from China and India

In April 2015, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain polyeth polyethylene terephthalate resin from China, India and Oman. Notably, on the same day, an antidumping investigation on the subject good was initiated, see related state act. In August 2015, a provisional duty was imposed. In March 2016, the provisional duty was terminated from Oman. In May 2016, a definitive duty was imposed on China and India. In March 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2022.
