In November 2019, Canada initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from Turkiye, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates. In March 2020, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from Turkiye, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates. In November 2020, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from Turkiye and Vietnam, while a provisional duty on imports from the United Arab Emirates was terminated. In September 2025, a sunset review was initiated on imports from Turkiye and Vietnam and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2026.
