South Africa: New tax incentives for industrial projects under tax code section 12I

On July 23, 2010, South African Government implemented new legislation to create a framework for tax incentives to the benefit of industrial goods production in South Africa. For 2010 alone, R5.6 billion (USD 770 million) were budgeted by the Ministry of Trade and Industry for these incentives.
