In March 2026, the Business Development Bank of Canada expanded its Defence Platform from CAD 4 billion (USD 2.91 billion) to up to CAD 6 billion (USD 4.37 billion) in financing, advisory services, and investment support for Canadian defence and dual-use technology firms.
