In February 2026, the Brazilian government increased the import duties on nine steel and industrial products to 25%. The measure added the products to Annexe IX of Resolution No. 272/2021. This Annexe corresponds to the List of Tariff Increases for Reasons of Trade Imbalances Derived from the International Economic Situation.
