Canada: Extension and expansion of temporary residence access for applicants under the Ukrainian family reunification pathway

In January 2026, Canada introduced measures to extend the availability of temporary residence, work, and study permits for Ukrainian nationals in the family reunification pathway. Eligible individuals have until 31 March 2027 to apply for these permits while awaiting decisions on their permanent residency.
