In September 2024, the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain U-sections, I-sections, and H-sections of iron or non-alloy steel from China and Thailand. In November 2024, a provisional duty was imposed. In March 2026, a definitive duty was imposed.
