In August 2025, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of solar cells from India, Indonesia, and the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2026, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from India, Indonesia, and the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The investigation is still in progress.
