In July 2025, the Brazilian government announced changes to Annex II of Resolution No. 272, originally adopted in November 2021. Annex II details the temporary import duty exceptions to the common external tariff (TEC) permitted for MERCOSUR Member States under Article 50(d) of the 1980 Montevideo Treaty.
