In June 2025, the Minister of Trade of Indonesia issued Regulation No.1551/2025, increasing the export benchmark price (HPE) for copper from between 1'504.60 USD/WE (wet equivalent) and 7'522.73 USD/WE to between 1'533.92 USD/WE and 7'646.67 USD/WE, depending on the level of copper and gold content.
