In May 2025, the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) signed a loan agreement with Sogn og Fjordane Energi AS to finance the upgrade of the Øksenelvane hydropower plant in Norway, aimed at increasing renewable electricity generation and improving operational efficiency.
