Bangladesh: Permits export of aromatic rice

In April 2025, the Ministry of Commerce in Bangladesh authorised the export of aromatic rice, lifting a ban that had been in place since 2022. The permits allow 133 companies to export a total of 18'150 tonnes of the product.
