In March 2025, the Minister of Trade of Indonesia increased the export benchmark prices (HPEs) for copper from between 1'452.24 USD/WE (wet equivalent) and 5'557.66 USD/WE to between 1'494.59 USD/WE and 7'070.24 USD/WE, depending on the level of copper and gold content.
